Functional cookies we set

CompressImage.ca runs on the Laravel framework, which sets two small cookies needed for the site to function safely:

• XSRF-TOKEN and session cookie: these protect forms (like our contact page) against cross-site request forgery. They identify your browsing session to the framework, not you as a person, and expire automatically.

None of our functional cookies are used for tracking, profiling or advertising, and none of them have anything to do with your images, which never leave your device in the first place.

Third-party cookies

If we display advertising through providers such as Google AdSense, those providers may set their own cookies to measure ad performance and, where permitted, personalize ads. You can manage personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn more in our Privacy Policy.

Controlling cookies

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking our functional cookies may prevent the contact form from submitting, but every image tool on this site will keep working normally, since the tools run locally and do not depend on cookies at all.
