Watermark FAQ
Quick answers about adding watermarks to your images.
How do I add a watermark to an image?
Drop in your photo, type your watermark text or upload a logo, then drag it into position and tune the size, opacity and rotation. Download the watermarked copy when it looks right. Everything happens in your browser.
Can I use a logo instead of text?
Yes. Switch the watermark type to Logo and upload a PNG (transparent logos work best). You can scale it, set its opacity and tile it across the whole image.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The photo, your logo and the finished image stay on your device. The watermark is drawn locally with your browser, so nothing is ever uploaded.
What image formats can I export?
You can keep the original format or export as PNG, JPG or WebP, with a quality control for the lossy formats and an optional resize.
Does tiling repeat the watermark everywhere?
Yes. Turn on Tiling and the watermark repeats in a diagonal grid across the whole image, which is the hardest pattern to crop out.
