Image optimization works best when you choose the right balance between file size, visual quality, dimensions, format compatibility and privacy. These tips help you get a cleaner result.
- Use a quality setting around 80 to 85 for photos when you want a strong balance of size and visual quality.
- Use format-specific tools when you know the source format: JPEG for photos, PNG for screenshots and WebP for modern websites.
